Faithful trails, healing excursions
What began as a simple vision has grown into a thriving community centered on prayer and healing through God’s creation. Hiking and Healing organizes activities that honor the Creator—such as visiting scenic vistas that beautifully showcase His handiwork. We also aim to foster healing through other expressions of creation, including:
+
Art projects, i.e. painting, writing, sculpture, etc.
+
Building projects and other crafts
+
Community prayer and meditation with family and church

Learn about outdoor healing excursions
We explore a variety of trails, ranging from very easy to more challenging, and share in moments of prayer, meditation, and a communal meal. No special equipment is required—just a willing heart and a love for nature.

Discover how creation facilitates healing
Have you ever created something—a painting, a poem, a meal? Creativity is a powerful path to healing. Discover how God nurtures and fulfills us through His creation, inviting us to participate in the act of making and restoring.

Greetings
Thank you for visiting hikingandhealing.org I hope to slowly build up this site and to find the support needed to grow the hiking and healing ministry. Our goal is to build a community of God’s faithful, to promote a relationship to God through Godly creation. While we lean towards the Christian faith, we are reminded…

“
The aesthetic value of creation cannot be overlooked. Our very contract with nature has a deep restorative power; contemplation of its magnificence imparts peace and serenity”
